My name is Kimberly Bradford and I’m happy you’re here.

I hail from Chicago, Illinois where I grew up going to the Chicago Botanical Gardens on the weekends with my dad. Every saturday we would ride our bikes to the gardens and watch the brides in their white dresses preparing to get married at the beautiful venue. Since then, I wanted to play a part, no matter how large or small, in creating memories for others that they would never forget.

This led me to my studies at Butler University, where I graduated with my Bachelors of Sciences in Arts Administration, minoring in art plus design, and entrepreneurship and innovation in 2015. I was working in the events and tourism industry when I discovered this quote from the themed entertainment design program at the Savannah College of Art and Design or “SCAD”:

“Themed entertainment designers create unforgettable experiences across a broad spectrum of entertainment parks, visitor attractions, resorts, hotels, restaurants and museums. They construct unique environments that empower, inform and entertain."

It was the educational program I always wanted to explore, but never knew existed. SCAD's program is incredible and was the first M.F.A. degree program in this rapidly growing, multibillion-dollar international industry. I'm beyond thrilled to be on this incredible journey that will allow me the opportunity to create once in a lifetime experiences for others! Since then I’ve worked for companies such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Creative, Meow Wolf, and more.

I'm most inspired by travel as it gives me the potential to take part in experiences that are truly one of a kind. This is the feeling I strive to be able to give guests and one of the many reasons I want to contribute to this industry on an international scale.
